Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is currently midway through the four-year deal he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the maiden important trophy of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he earlier was, and would seriously think about lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
