Helicopter Spirals Wildly into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Coast
A chopper hovering above a crowded southern California coastline abruptly commenced twirling uncontrollably, finally dropping height and smashing into a line of palm trees as spectators looked on.
Footage posted on the internet capture the chopper starting to spin over the shoreline then descending in the direction of the perimeter of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
First Aid Details
Local firefighters said five persons were transported to a medical facility including two who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” after the crash on the weekend.
Three individuals on the street were hurt. Information on their injuries were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.
